In the Girlfriends Circle, Feleshia R. Mahoney Thomas delivers an interesting collection of stories centered around a women's group that helps ladies cope with their past mistakes. The women come from all walks of life, and they span all ages. They have one thing in common; they have made unwise decisions in their day-to-day lives. The women in the Girlfriends Circle learn that by throwing blame away that they can come to terms with the mistakes that they have made in the past. Candace, one of the group's founders, finds that by talking about the negative things that have occurred in their lives, they can release their sorrow and move forward with their lives. Candace slowly puts her life in order after starting the group. She learns that it is better to take things slowly and not rush head first into a new relationship.

I loved the originality of this book. I have not yet read a book presented in this way and I enjoyed reading it. The author did a good job of getting her message across; the only problem that I had with this book was the lack of editing. This book would have gotten a better rating if it had been edited properly. Reading this book made me realize that all women share some type of baggage. Women of all ages can benefit reading this book. Perhaps you will see yourself or someone that you know in one of the stories.

Feleshia R. Mahoney-Thomas Born May 4,1968, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. At the age of 10 realized her dream was to become a Journalist/Author. Feleshia have written numerous plays, short stories/ and lots poetry. Her creative writing has excelled once awards have been receive for her poetry/plays. Feleshia married her good looking, intelligent, happy go lucky friend of many years John, and she is the mother of three beautiful challenging yet intelligent young ladies: Margarite (Nicole), Jaclynn (Jackie) and Tiffany (Pookie) Thomas. Feleshia is currently working in the Medical Field, doing what she love the most- working with the public when she is not working is busy creating- Her company she co owns with John (Thomas and Thomas) John is the CEO of J. L Thomas Mechanical (a home improvement company) where Feleshia is the CEO of Thomas Creations Publishing.
