Leceila Turnage resides in North Carolina, where she is employed as a school social worker.  She is a graduate of FayettevilleState University, Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she earned a bachelor's in sociology and WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis, Missouri, where she earned a master's in social work.  She has worked at battered women shelters, departments of social services, and in adult and juvenile corrections.
